Heavenly Father,
On this Memorial Day, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and reverence. We thank You for the blessings You have bestowed upon our nation and for the brave men and women who have sacrificed their lives for our freedom. We humbly seek Your continued favor and guidance for our country.
We continue to ask that You would bless this great nation, Father. Pour out Your abundant blessings upon the United States, filling our land with peace, prosperity, and unity. May Your grace touch every citizen, every community, and every leader, that we may honor the sacrifices made by our fallen heroes with lives of integrity and purpose.
Always enlarge our territory, both in spirit and influence. Expand our capacity to serve one another, to extend compassion, and to uphold justice. May our influence for good extend beyond our borders, fostering peace and cooperation among all nations. Help us to grow in wisdom and understanding, leading the world by example in righteousness and love.
Let Your hand be with us, guiding our leaders and our people. Provide wisdom to those in positions of power, that they may make decisions aligned with Your will. Direct our paths as a nation, that we may walk in Your ways and fulfill the high calling of freedom and democracy. Guide us to be a beacon of hope and a source of light in a world that often knows darkness.
And keep us from harm, O Lord, so that we may live in safety and peace. Protect our military personnel, both at home and abroad. Shield our land from the threats of violence, division, and natural disasters. Guard our hearts and minds, protecting us from fear and hatred, and fill us with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
In Your precious name and will, we pray!
May this Memorial Day be a time of reflection, gratitude, and renewed commitment to the values that make our nation strong. Bless us, expand us, guide us, and protect us, Lord, as we honor those who have given their all for our freedom.
Amen.
